Great tip. Definitely one of those things that even experienced users don't know how to do.

Great tip. How do you get the value that you put in the registry key? I have other things that I had like to put on the context menu.

Great tip, but involves modifying the registry. As Kay mentioned, its always dangerous. :-)

    Thanks for your comments.
Indeed registry manipulations are an advanced task, and thus i recommend to execute them cautiously after following the backup procedure i provided.
Also, be selective about when you edit the registry manually. There are multiple tweaks that can be made using utility such as TweakXP, TweakUI (for Windows XP) and TweakVI, and TweakVista (for Windows Vista), so preferably check those out before you edit the registry manually.

There is a software from MoonSoftware known as FileTarget which I use to customize the right click context menu in Windows. It saves me messing with the registry.

Anyways, the registry hack you provided is really useful. But should be ultra careful on touching the registry.
