    I'm not a big fan of spam karma as I don't like the way it automatically deletes spam, as this will mean that you can't fix false positives.

    I can't remember what BB does - I'll have another look at this one.

    SK2 has never killed an email here. :) And it's permanently learning from it. Maybe you have used a buggy version? I have 2.2-FINAL here and works like a charm.

    but how would you know given that it automatically deletes 'spam'?

    I would agree with Everton regarding Spam Karma, but it atleast notifies the visitor if his comments are marked as spam. Akismet fails to do this, hence commentator never knows that his comment landed into spambin.

    Usually, Bloggers are blamed that he delete comments, infact Akismet does this

    I agree with Akismet; I don't know what SK does, but I'm developing a new plugin to make the user noticed when his/her comment has been flagged as spam, I think it'll be useful..
