Yes comment luv is a great. I like the way it gives commenters a chance to publise their blog plus you get comments on your entries. It a shame its only avaialble on wordpress only thou

Nice to see you add this plugin. They should get your blog alot more traffic since people love keyword and comment luv. I've seen people talk about the good and bad points but it seems to have helped some sites do very well with alot more traffic and comments and good page rank.

Good news you've got it going again. I didn't realise that the link gets updated with your latest post - I thought it always stayed the same. CommentLuv something I'm going to install on my blog in an effort to boost traffic. Hopefully spam won't following as I think it will attract other bloggers rather than the usual spam merchants.

Re spam comments, I solved the problem with most spam comments by turning off dofollow.

Is true that commentluv is a tricky plugin when comes about the spam but you gotta luv it since askimet is doing a hell of a job.

Hey Everton, I too have now enabled commentluv. I seem to remember seeing a blog that had the ability to only post the link back after x number of comments? know anything about this?

CommentLuv is great addition to any blog and you will benefit by sharing link love. I know many enjoy commenting to get backlink but there are also plenty who will be pleased to be rewarding for adding to conversation.

I use CommentLuv on two of my blogs and I would agree that it does attract spammy type comments sometimes, but over all I find it useful.

Hi Everton,

I've had an interesting discussion about this with my readers lately, with quite a few mentioning how CommentLuv is now attracting more "spam-like" comments. Definitely something to consider, given the rise of "CommentLuv enabled" lists, much like the previous "DoFollow" lists that are still circulating.
