firebug has proven to be quite a useful tool. Although I used it for some minor things, now I use it every day as it is very flexible. With firebug one can even save any song that can be listened to online. I don't suggest anyone to do this as it's considered theft.

foxit is a great app, i dunno why the adobe is so slow.. waiting while opening the pdf with acrobat is frustating

I agree , i ve used mostly all the software but more than Foxit i like PDF Xchange Viewer.I dont like it loads slow on my pc and always ask for download update.I am looking for some tweak software for that.

I've not set up FoxIt as my default pdf reader, seems to be working better performance-wise, shall see how good it is. I've noticed it has trouble with feature-rich pdfs such as Gamerzine's pdf, but I can always open that with Adobe Reader.

An alternative to AVG (which I'm not a big fan of these days) would be Avast if you're looking for a free anti-virus solution - but I can't get rid of the "you get what you pay for" attitude when it comes to anti-virus products.

Been a web designer myself and always on my PC its great to hear about new firefox extensions as well as anti virus. I have been running windows live onecare and am looking for something free that should do a good job, this software looks like what i am after

I find AVG to be too much of a resource hog. I recommend AntiVir as an alternative. Also, even if you already have a media player, I like foobar2000 for audio.
