    Everton - Have you thought about putting up a software review site with nifty stars and the like? Do you know if this application is only for video conferencing, or will it also record video?

    If anybody needs a desktop video recorder - I have a good article at bloglyne.com for a free application which works great for me :) (and I'm not affiliated with them either!)

    I don't think it reocrds videos.

    A software review site is a good idea. Do you know much about this? Are there packages/templates that can be downloaded?

    Everton and Mark, yes, SightSpeed 6.0 enables recording of videos in addition to live video calling and conferencing and voice only calling. With SightSpeed 6.0, the user can (1) record the video call or conference itself and embed the file in their blog or website for a true "interview" playback experience; and (2) record high quality videos and either post them to their blog or website and also separately vmail them to anyone (whether or not they are a SightSpeed user). Check it out. Also, check out our latest product which is in early early beta -- www.vlip.com -- the first interactive online video community.

    @Peter

    Vlip looks like a very good idea as it overcomes one of the major reason why video-calling hasn't taken off i.e. your friends need to have a camera as well, and it also improves the video-messaging concept as at least you can leave video messages for people who can at least leave messages back.

    What are the minimum recommended specs for SightSpeed these days? I seem to remember that a much higher spec was recommended by Scott when we did our testing than say with Vibe, eyeball etc.
