    I've stopped featuring FAN ads in my feed as the payout is too low, but displaying my own ads is a good idea - I'm going to look into that. thanks!!

    I have another much smaller site, plus the directory and forum where I sell text link ads. I've just done the maths and 90% of my earnings come from this blog.

    JC had an amazing month hitting 20K. It'll be interesting to see what he does next to keep up his growth, as his traffic isn't growing that much, so the move he made to increase his monetisation through ad sales/new theme was a good one. Maybe he'll increase his ad prices?

    I'm going after the traffic growth option, which is working so far and the guest authors are really helping as well as getting some good cash in their pockets. Plus, I think I've still got more to offer direct advertisers as well as launching a new theme that I think will increase the effectiveness of my current schemes.

    BTW even though you are earning 13,000 dollars a month, your 9 to 5 job pays even more?

    I think by showing your earnings, it shows all the people who are new to blogs that it IS possible if you write unique content, get subscribers, and then monetize your site correctly. I like it.

    The amount of money that can be made from affiliation etc is enormous.
