  • Mr.Byte · 2 years ago
WoW!!!That's a good amount inspite of reduced growth from last month...I guess I should start optimizing mine for advertising...so that atleast from May I get some amount...

    Excellent!.
I just wonder how do you manage so much on Adsense - despite these days so much of people are using FF with Adblock and have developed Ad-Blindness.
I forgot the last time I clicked on an Ad!

On some days when my CTR gets high, say 10%, I actually start to worry as that's too many people leaving. I think the reason why I do so well is 70% of my traffic still comes via search engines i.e. first time visitors who probably aren't as sophisticated as you.

I click on adsense units on sites occasionally as sometimes the offers get my attention.

Also, don't believe the hype about Firefox from the fanboys - most of the world still use IE.

I think that's what make the difference. +70% of my readers are FF users.
And presently only 28% of my traffic is through Search Engines. The majority is from Forums, StumbleUpon etc.

I have to say WOW. I never thought you'd be making that much. All my adsense earnings add up to like $50 for about 4months from all my sites. I'm no good at it! Love the blog though and keep it up.

Looks like you managed to bounce back just in time. Nice job.

Will you be sharing your earnings soon, or even just a breakdown of where your cash comes from? You get so much traffic I'd love to see what might happen if I can take my site up to the next leve.

wow, this is great. well not that the amount went down, but $3000 a month is a good amount.

Hey well done again Everton, especially given some of the problems you encountered this month.

Here's to having a clear month for you to see just how much more you can get!
  • Investing Blog · 2 years ago
Wow. You still did very well, considering your domain registering problems. My earnings increased like 48%, but are nothing compared to your cash flow. You've set the bar very high; let's see who else can reach it.

    Good job Everton,

I think you have a pretty nice optimized revenue pie. What is your overall CPM? Should be around $20 right?
  • Everton · 2 years ago
    $26CPM

    Just one word: wow.
  • Budi S · 2 years ago
    Wow ...
    great income ....
I hope i can get my first income in 3 months :D
  • Everton · 2 years ago
The trick Budi is to keep posting and the big breaks will come. Even though I've only been trying to make cash for around 6 months, I'd already spent 18 months building up traffic (although my efforts to drive traffic have increased over the last 6 months).

I have a second site that I started as an experiment 6 months ago which is doing ok, so you can build a decent sized site in that timeframe.

Everton - I agree completely about Firefox. It's definitely a lot of hype from the fanboys. Most of my traffic is from IE users. Don't get me wrong. I'm a full time FF user. However, despite being a techie, I don't have Adblock on. I think it would be unfair of me to use Adsense on my own blog and then block the ads others place to generate a bit of income.

Wow, this are the kind of posts that really encourages small time bloggers to turn into something much bigger. Nice job Everton.
