why bother with windows media nothing but headache and viruses and stupid rich asses and copy right laws its just a never ending battle.i purchased many things to back up all my movies and put them in folders to keep my library on my pc in which it runs my entire intertainment system.Even after 6000 on my build i dont even use windows media.and have had many viruses on trying to make it work.its just bs and copy right laws and all that.if it wernt for all of us they wouldnt be any body from the get go.if i buy movies it would be nice to copy with out the headache for as much money these people have realy who cares if they make a copy like they cant afford it.lol these people arnt even on the same planet as us.freeken weirdows

You can watch DVD's on your WMC. Rip the movies to your hard drive (AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS) and then add a picture of the DVD cover and call it folder.jpg. These 3 items need to be in one folder with the name of the movie and you are set. Be sure to change the registry to show gallery and not play. There are other posts on how to do this. Enjoy!

Why media center prevents DVD access is beyond me. It's like Durex selling condoms but saying its only for self-pleasuring and not intercourse.
