    Yup - from Wikipedia:
    "It was acquired by Google in May 2005. Users text their location to the service, which then notifies them of crushes, friends, friends' friends and interesting venues nearby. In April 2007, the founders of Dodgeball quit Google to work on other projects."

    I can't tell from the site - does it have a UK version?

    hi,

    It's an interesting article.

    Here is a cool site; MoDazzle. I recently registered for it. It’s about accessing social networking sites through mobile. I registered for free and now I can access Facebook and Linkedin through mobile via SMS and email without internet and GPRS. There are many more other services like Google maps, star bucks etc are available on mobile.

    Check this out;

    Damn, I was thinking about selling my social network to Google :)

    Well, I have to invent something new.... ;) MoDazzle is a cool idea, maybe I'll use the same thing on my community, well I first need to build one ;)

    Wow, another Google property I've never heard of. This actually sounds kind of cool. I may have to give it a test run, to see if it actually works well.

    It's a nice idea but just like Facebook has its privacy concerns, so does this. This kind of thing can only work with an easy way of managing one's privacy settings

    I 'met' my girlfriend on facebook, although we were in the same class at school nearly 20 years ago.
  • Marcus the Critic · 2 years ago
    Hmmm... it was a reunion?
  • Everton · 2 years ago
    @Marcus

    Nope, no reunion. She buzzed me on Facebook and after lots of messages, IMs and phone calls we finally met and we've been going strong a few months now
