What I use to do is usually post some problem in PHPBB forum about my forum and give them a link to mine. This will work the best for getting indexed. For wordpress use their forum. &lt;br&gt;For long time SERP ranking post post and post in all releated forums with useful info about the topic of your page and put a back line that is kinda useful for the readers.
