Well I have been having baffling problems with Google indexing on my site, it does not index anything other than my domain name. None of my posts are being indexed, Webmasters says that it is received x no. of URLs but Google isn't indexing them, the custom domain search on my site gives no results at all.

    Any ideas?

Other better way is to submit your site/page to digg or stumbleupon...i won't think it will index in 3 hours but it will index in less than 24 hours.

Yet another trick... Although, I find that having a blog is good enough. When I publish a new post, I am indexed in Google within 10 minutes. I ping a few update services including pingomatic.

Thats 100% true. What I use to do is usually post some problem in PHPBB forum about my forum and give them a link to mine. This will work the best for getting indexed. For wordpress use their forum.
For long time SERP ranking post post and post in all releated forums with useful info about the topic of your page and put a back line that is kinda useful for the readers. Will work.

Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit etc are all alternatives for quick indexing but this is another one well worth trying, thanks for the tip.

Simple idea to get search engines picking up on your site quickly - still doesn't get you out of what ever 'sandboxes' they may have however.
