Connected Internet: How do I increase my Pagerank?

  • AIeditor · 2 years ago
    Hi,

So did you find out what made your blog become pagerank 6 now?

Two years to get PR 6, maybe you can help my Movie Special blog pagerank.

Do you want to exchange links with my blog & what else should I do about PR for my blog?

    :P

I think to get a PR6 you just need to post and acquire new links regularly, and of course you can buy links to speed up the process.

I don't think 2 years for a PR6 is good, especially as I got PR5 in 3 months. It took me a while as I think I got penalised for a long period of inactivity in 2006.

You just need more high quality (pagerank) sites linking to your blog. If you can get a few PR7 or a PR8, you should see a significant jump in PR. I noticed your main page is already a 6.

    Hi,
I think you should sumit your site to dmoz.org and wikipedia.com

Google tracks how often you get in-bound-links, how long they are active, and how valuable each links are. With these 3 factors Google makes some kind of algo and ranks your site. You also need to keep your outbound links limited and valuable. Meaning there should not be any bunch of out-bound-links. And also should be relevant to the page.

It is a shame google does not recognize a quality site from other factors rather than links

To obtain a high page rank you must post regularly to your website with quality posts and have other websites link to your website with high page rank. Lower page rank links to your site to not hurt your site rank but strengthen the fact that your site is an organic website that has shared interest from a variety of websites.
