That's very cynical, Jessica! Although, I see your point about the only results coming from big coporates as they begin to grasp SEO and spend millions to get every spot on page one for every type of keyword. What recommendation in link building would you have then Jessica if do follow links aren't the way to go?

Hi,
Dofollow is good but unfortunately as Google continues to refine their algorithm to discount spammy links and moves toward semantic search, and considering that most blogs have a low pagerank, I don’t foresee the benefit of do follow links continuing much longer. I also think this will contribute to Google losing relevance as eventually the only search results you will get are for mega conglomerate organizations that have been around forever.

My blogs are set up to allow comments, but they cannot be brief (one-liners) nor do I approve comments that are "attaboy" in nature.

U Follow/I Follow is meant to remind people that their comments are welcome, but they have to be relevant. In other words, spammers need not stop by!

It seems like nearly all â€œI followâ€ blogs on the web are PR0 or PR â€˜n/aâ€™.

Itâ€™s hard to find anyone with a PR1+ that follows. As a PR2 blog, I applaud you for following.

I agree that some people will probably spam, but at the end of the day most commenters will not fall into this bracket.

I am still waiting for a refund which I suppose to have received in June 2007. After e-mails, international call, etc... Still waiting for the money!!!
They said they sent the money but we have never received...
Trading Standards has investigated the case and although we have proven that Pixmania has never made the refund, Pixmania hasn't done anything to solve it. Trading Standards are not a legal advice organisation, hence they cannot give you legal advice, they can only try to help you in a friendly manner. USELESS with Pixmania.
We are issuing them a court summons. We are aware they have been already taken few times to court and lost. We will claim the refund money + interest + administrative cost (calls, time wasted with them)
I think everyone should do the same, as it is the only way to fight back with shameless company.
I can give details if required. Do not let them take your money!!!!

i will certainly join this movement in a few days, trying to figure out exact steps to configure my blog accordingly. This movement should be backed up by everyone who is a real blogger. Moderation can always solve spam problems.
