I agree with Everton on this one Jen. If you play through campaign mode, you'll certainly have a blast, PLUS you'll learn how to play the game. When you go online with it, your matches will probably be all over the place at first but after ranking goes mainstream with Halo3, you'll probably end up in a ton of fun matches w/ people closeish to your skill level.

I'm thinking about getting Halo3 for my new XBOX 360, but I haven't played previous Halo games. I used to be heavily into UT and BF1942 on the PC, so I have some familiarity with FPS, but will I just struggle way too much to keep up with the pros on the console? Advice, please!

Already pre-ordered it since Best Buy was giving away 1600Live pts for $5 w/ it. The dagger? In my zeal to redeem the card i rubbed off like 5 characters in the code. ARGH.

Even I have been discussing off late with my friends about Halo 3. One of my friend has already ordered it and it should reach him in a day or two. We are all eagerly waiting for the launch. It should be good fun.
