Throw some idea back at us. I really think this is one of better ones on the web.

I haven't found any better than this one to be honest. Although it is definitely something worth looking into- there are sooooooo many "web 2.0" sites out there! Could be a gap in the market ;-)

Hey Tim, if I call my 2.0 from now on, do you think I can make it in that directory?

Whenever I look at go2web 2.0 I wonder how many of these will still be around in two years time?
  • cheekopek · 2 years ago
thanks for sharing, i'm looking at it now

i think the dynamics of the internet is ever evolving ... web 3.0 next? :)
  • Micah · 2 years ago
That's a pretty interesting site. Eventually all sites will include some if not all web 2.0 apps...so cheekopek is right, web 3.0 is soon coming. Whatever that might be. Nonetheless, I'll be checking through this site more closely, it looks pretty neat.

This just in, my site is 3.0. What makes it such? If you view it on a laptop while driving 88 mph, you go back to the future.

Nice site Bush. Liked that huge feed button. Biggest I've ever seen!

Funny how all web 2.0 sites have candy cane colors, huge icons and word clouds- makes my teeth crack at all the saccharine sweetness. :D

    PS
I liked your post on the blog ReviewMe earnings. ;) Made just about the same on reviewme. :(

Yes, web 2.0 is important. However, you must remember that finding traffic from web 2.0 is not easy. I mean, you can get a lot (really lot) of traffic from StumbleUpon and such, but will you get any money from them? Well, i doubt that. Web 2.0 is a revolutionary thing but not "too" revolutionary for people who try to monetize their websites.

    Get this..

web 4.0 during the 2020's will be a lot more fun to use. Which will be more focused on ease of use by allowing mobile based blogging platforms, or information based platforms to be transfered to the net, by sight to sight touch reading. Web 4.0 will focus on the proliferation of the 'Stream Berry'; a device baring circuits so small you could literally, fold, and tuck in your pocket. However, in just under ten years web 3.0 will bare some semblance to its future counterpart by allowing mobile content to further expand our growing technology until, of course, the mobile device is light weight, simple to use, more advanced, and essential.

Good stuff.  I never knew about that site.  We shouldn't forget about web 1.0 as well though.
