    If I had a £100 would put it on Rhain Davis being in the England football team scoring goals before Rooney did!!

    lol. The sad thing is most of these kid players don't make it - so much can happen in the next ten years. When I was doing my A-levels one of my mates had a little brother who was playing for our old junior school. He was so good we used to rush home after college to watch him play. Imagine wanting to watch 10 year olds play!

    He broke both his legs when he was about 11 when I was at Uni and when I heard I nearly cried, and he was never the same player after that :-(

    WAUW. Very impressive. A big ego though ;)

    Everton - the good news from this post is that you also support the United. I can understand that, as being a Spurs fan you didn't have so much joyce during the last two decades ;)
    I closely watch the United, which is my preferred team.
    As far as the kid, well his team mates and rivals doesn't seem to be too skilled. However, i must admit he has a good skill, although he is not the next Robinho.

    You have a point. Although i still believe there's a bit of an over hype going on around this guy. I lived in South America for years, and i have seen such young players in the past and thus i believe that although uncommon in the more developed countries, such virtuous skills are more common in South America.
    Also, i am sure you agree that this guy's real test will be once he is 16 and starts to train with the United main team (See Leo Messi's case, that had a tough 1-2 years until he made it to Barca's opening 11).

    Everton,

    For some reason my reply to your comment is listed before it. You might want to take a look at it.

    The kid plays really really well. I think there might be a future for him in soccer, but with United. What a shame...

    @Gili

    You are forgetting he's only 9! Most 9 year olds can just about dribble a ball, much less show control, balance and a lot of skill. Also, look at the vision he has and some of the passes he makes - to have that ability at 9 naturally is amazing.
