Connected Internet: Feedburner Feed Counts Playing Up Again?

  • BoBByCooL · 1 year ago
I'm guessing it's a system problem since it's happened before.
  • Dennis Bjørn Petersen · 1 year ago
    Yeah mine is at 67...

Oh wait...That's the real number =P

I liked the number I had two weeks ago better. I think I had around 100,000+ subscribers. It was yet another bug in Feedburner.

I too agree with BoBByCooL, it has to be a system error.

Same bug's going on with Google. Sometimes my backlinks come up zero

its gone down to 6 now...

I saw it yesterday as 250 and was shocked if you did something to your blog...

    :)

Dunno if its only with your blog mine is showing ok..6 is just ridiculous for your blog.

*laughing* although this is not very funny - I just about had a heart attack when I saw your feedburner number today... have you heard from them? Is there anything to be done?

Wow that's a shocker. While we all know it's another glitch in the system, it's still surprising to see it like that.

I'm not receiving updates anymore from Connected Internet in my feed reader. I wondered why this was happening, so I came here to check it out. Clicking on your feed button says that Feedburner can't retrieve your feed. I'm subscribed through www.connectedinternet.co.uk/feed/ though. I'm not subscribed through your feedburner link.

    could be a plugin problem?
  • Collin LaHay · 1 year ago
I only see 3 on yours now. I received this post in my feed reader so it must be a text only glitch.

Not sure what the problem was but, but I restarted lots of stuff, contacted feedburner etc and now it seems to be working
  • Mark from Bloglyne · 1 year ago
So - it is fixed, but nobody knows what caused it? That is not so encouraging...
  • Josh · 1 year ago
Glad you got your feed count fixed, but your feed doesn't seem to be updating. The latest item in your feed is "Joomla! 1.5 Stable Released," which was posted on Friday.

    Hmmmm

I think it's a plugin that I've updated that's causing the problem. I'll need to disable them one by one to find the culprit :-(

    Update

Problem was the updated version of the Simple Tags plugin I was using. I've disabled it for now
