So are all the bloggers whether beginner or old are allowed at CES. They should've done something to let in only the bloggers with some minimum criteria not all bloggers.

The most shocking part is that many of the comments Gizmodo got on this is "positive". People actually find this amusing. I guess the worst part is they are getting a lot of link juice because of this ;)

Well, I would prefer more than a slap on the wrists for those guys.

It appears that just the individual in the gizmodo video will be banned for life from CES, but so far, gizmodo as a whole will be unpunished? WTF? I seriously doubt that he was a lone person in this, and that it was done without knowledge of anyone else at gizmodo. I would slap gizmodo with at least a full out ban on next years CES. They have enough to cover day to day it wont kill them, but it would show them that this shit isnt cool.

It was funny, maybe! It's an old joke. But kid, think about the consequences. That was just near sided stupidity.

Poor guy at the Moto presentation, and the technician guy of this presentation, he might got in really big trouble after the presentation and it wasn't even his fault.

That left a bad taste about Blogger. :(

By the way great post, unfortunately there are more idiots who own the world, just because they have a blog.

I blog a lot and hence consider myself a blogger. Now seeing fellow blogger behave like spoiled Hollywood Celebs makes me feel small when I say Im a blogger.

Perhaps they should spend some of their adsense millions on finishing school

Well, I did not mean to lump all bloggers into the same category, but from these stories and many many other incidents, I do not think it is that far of a stretch to assume that bloggers left a bad impression at CES this year. One could expect it from small time blogs, but it's also the big time ones...

A lot of times people will lump "bloggers" into one category. This sucks when some of them behave poorly, it reflects poorly on all of us bloggers.
I think it's ridiculous of bloggers to just expect high-priced freebies because they get 500 visitors/day or whatever.

I totally agree with you. CES does not allow bloggers to attend as regular press, but they do have a special 'blogger' category that gets them access to a 'press room' of sorts (only not as fancy) and I'm not sure what kinds of press access they have to press conferences. However its certainly a step in the right direction, but after the shit pulled this year.. you have to wonder if the show is going to regret doing that, or if it will all just go forgotten next year.
