Connected Internet: Barclaycard Introduce Contactless Credit Card In London

I agree that a sightly higher limit would be more useful. It is nice though to not have to wait and provide a signature for small purchases. As far as fraud goes, if it is kept to a minimum, the credit companies will just accept it as a cost of doing business while providing a service that consumers want.

Great news, this would save a lot of time on the way to work in the mornings. The oyster cards worked a wonder when I used to goto college.

    Thanks for sharing.

I do not like to carry cash either, but as credit gets easier to use I get a little more nervous about what could happen if I lose a card.

UK seems to pioneer credit card options as far as I can tell, too.

Be wary. There are cretins out there with card scanners that can capture your data from a distance. Then when you get home, you'll be shocked at $10,000 in purchases from Uzbekistan that you never made!
